Studio XPS 16 battery

 I'm currently looking for genuine/official laptop batteries from other online retailers/ebay. I'll admit it's brutally hard. There are US retailers that sell it cheaper, but with shipping/handling and most likely high customs or brokerage charges, the Dell Canada website (or official manufacturer's online store) might seem like the best choice, sadly.

In response to refunding to his Paypal account, we will refund to whichever account payment was made. If we received a check we will refund the customer with a check. So if you made payment with your paypal account, we will refund back to your paypal account. It is also our experience that paypal will refund their fees charged for the transaction if you do a refund.

We definitely take responsibility for any batteries or adapters that are defective. While we do require the customer pay for any return shipping for defective products we will always take care of the shipping costs for the replacements. We do not have many defective products and only bring in a technician once a week. The said return occurred during the time when the technician took a week off on holiday and that is why the RMA procedure took longer than usual. Most of our customers do ask for an exchange since they simply want a good working product Dell Vostro 1000 battery and in those cases we ship the replacement right away if it is within 30 days of the initial purchase. When the customer asks for a refund we will take more precautions and will charge a 15% restocking fee in the event that the battery tests fine.

Yhap2003, in your case the batteries tested fine. I know that you are not happy with the results so we are willing to pay to ship your laptop to our office and back so that we can test the battery here. Of course we will perform this right away and keep the laptop in our possession for one day. If you want the test results of your Dell Vostro 1200 battery , we can e-mail you the test results which show chip information, operating capacity and voltage.
