I have a Dell laptop Latitude D610 on which i had installed Windows Xp as my operating system. I would like to know that does Dell Latitude D600 Battery has have built in microphone? Which can allows me to use Skype without connecting and external microphone to the microphone jack? If yes, then how do i use it? Does any body knows about it? Kindly provide me the correct information on the above issue. Any kind of information on the above issue would be appreciated.

According to my best of knowledge, there is no built in microphone in the Dell Latitude D610 Battery. For that you have to plug in an external microphone instead. So you need to purchase an external microphone for your Dell laptop.Are you able to record with Audacity on your laptop? For that you you need to go to your Control Panel on your system and then under Sound you need to make sure it's enabled on your laptop.

I was having Microsoft windows XP operating system installed on my Dell Latitude D630 battery. After installing windows 7 operating system I am having problem with my system microphone such that it is not working.
